We start our slow pace walking tour in Cisternino , an authentic town with few tourists. Cisternino has an intersting Piazza , surrounded by churches on one side , overloooking the stunning Valle'D'itria on the other. We wander the back streets of the Historic old town and discover the winding streets and architecture. We then drive to Ostuni to the biggest square in the city, Piazza Della Libertà, where you can admire the Palace of San Francesco, a restored former monastery. Witness the St. Oronzo statue, the town's patron saint the which looks over the piazza.
Continue your tour with a visit to the magnificent Gothic/Baroque Cathedral, then wander through the picturesque white alleys of the Old Town to reach the wonderful and charming church of Santa Maria Della Stella.
You might have a short stroll around the city walls and some free time for shopping or as an option you can visit "La Masseria Brancati". This fortified farmhouse has preserved all the original features and is therefore a genuine historical interest.
