Explore Polignano a Mare on foot on this half day walking tour. Polignano is a very picturesque town clinging to the cliff top overlooking a deep narrow bay . This is the birthplace of the famous singer Domenico Mondugno who wrote the classic song ' Violare' , there is a statue to him here with his back to the sea and his arms flung wide. This town hosts the annual cliff diving competition where divers leap from the terrace of a private house into the sea. There are amazing vistas at evey turn. You may choose to take a boat trip to see the sea caves for an extra €35.
