This day tour of Alberobello and Locorotondo is designed to explore this fascinating small towns on foot. Alberobello is a truly unique and picturesque place, entirely built of trulli, whitewashed conical shaped dwellings with grey slate stacked roofs. Some of these buildings now contain cafes and shops displaying local handicrafts and souvenirs. Some are still lived in today . We will visit a trulli museum which will allow you to see how these homes were traditionally inhabited. Alberobello also boasts the only trullo church in the world. There are many opportunities for photos at every turn as we wander ther streets of the town. You can take an optional segway or tuk tuk tour if you wish.
